1) 180 EHC BRANCHES IN 165 NATIONS: Despite being the world’s 8th most populous country, Christians make up less than 5% of Bangladesh’s population. The EHC team aims to share the Gospel with the poor and hopeless. Pray for safety and the conversion of hearts.
2) 400K CHRIST GROUPS WORLDWIDE: EHC Mexico is focusing on evangelizing the marginalized indigenous people. Pray for wisdom and the establishment of Christ groups to nurture new believers.
3) EHC HQ AND BRANCHES IN EVANGELISM: EHC Hungary is sharing the Gospel in towns and villages without Christians. Pray for humility in hearts to receive Christ and the planting of new churches to expand God’s kingdom.
MON: PRAY FOR GOVERNMENTS AND THEIR LEADERS IN ASIA
1) FEED 5,000 – EVANGELISM IN AFRICA: EHC Ethiopia evangelized in the mountainous Gondar region. Pray for open doors for the Gospel and wisdom for the team to lead the unsaved to Christ.
2) CCIS: The overseas choirs have confirmed their participation, and preparations and discussions are underway for the local groups and venue and stage arrangements. Pray for the funding challenge to receive God’s timely provision.
3) 2025 CALENDARS – 2 TYPES AT 500K COPIES EACH: These beautifully designed scripture calendars are highly popular and distributed yearly to Christian and non-believers in APAC. Pray for the Lord to guide the co-workers’ distribution and for the recipients’ positive response to the Gospel.
TUES: PRAY FOR EVANGELISM IN THE ASIAN WORKPLACE
1) SEHC MINISTRY: SEHC published many Christian books over the years, but with storage rent doubling, the balance stock needs to be relocated back to our bookroom soon. Pray for smooth packing and transport.
2) DEAF AND BLIND MINISTRY: This specialized ministry serves hearing and visually impaired brethren. Pray for them to testify for Christ’s love and for young leaders amongst the brethren to rise up and succeed the work.
3) BIBLE CORRESPONDENCE COURSES: These courses have helped many to grow in their faith. A social worker from the Society for the Aged Sick recently shared how their seniors benefited from it. Pray for more pre-believers to be edified through the courses.
WED: PRAY FOR SOCIAL CARE MINISTRY IN ASIA
1) FLOODING IN NORTHERN THAILAND: EHC Thailand reported that heavy rains have caused massive damage to the ministry’s office and materials. Pray for the funds needed to restore ministry operations.
2) “SEEKERS’ COURSE”: Aimed at helping pre-believers understand the faith and answer their doubts, 20K copies will be printed in APAC. Pray for its effective use in strengthening foundations of faith.
3) CHRISTMAS COMIC BOOK “EMMANUEL”: This bilingual illustrated comic shares the meaning of Christmas with youth and can be distributed in place of tracts. SEHC is currently supplying it for free. Pray for the Lord to lead its wide distribution.
THU: PRAY FOR ASIAN TRIBAL CHURCHES & LIT. EVANGELISM
1) SEHC DONORS AND INTERCESSORS: Many tried to buy gold to hedge against inflation but ended up getting fake gold. Investments in heaven, on the other hand, never fails for God is pleased with His faithful servants. Pray for God to bless their contributions to edify many.
2) MIDDLE EAST CONFLICT: With ongoing conflicts between Israel, Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran spreading to more regions, more innocent lives are affected and destroyed. Pray for God to foil Satan’s plans and let peace return soon.
3) CHURCHES AND BRETHREN IN EVANGELISM: A Malaysian believer regularly purchases and distributes tracts from SEHC while visiting his family in Singapore. Pray for believers to use tracts to share the Gospel effectively across language barriers.
FRI: PRAY FOR SEMINARY EDUCATION AND AGENCY MINISTRY
1) OIKOS OUTREACH MINISTRY: Someone who received a tract called to ask how to attend church. He had been in and out of prison and felt fearful, hoping to find peace in God. Pray for every tract given out to guide lost sheep to Christ.
2) “PRACTICING THE PRESENCE OF GOD”: In today’s busy world, many lack time to study the Bible, and become distanced from God. The author manages to find time to draw close to God amidst a busy schedule and shares how to do so with readers in the book. Pray for many readers to be edified.
3) CHRISTMAS COMBO TRACT – “HEAVENLY GIFT” AND “THE GREATEST CHRISTMAS PRESENT”: Many are busy accepting gifts during Christmas, but few know its true meaning. Jesus is the greatest gift we could ever have. 2 million copies of this tract will be distributed in East Asia. Pray for their use in God’s work.
SAT: PRAY FOR THE MISSION MINISTRY OF ASIAN CHURCHES
1) CONCERN FOR NEETS: In 2023, it was reported that over 17K youth in Singapore were “Not currently engaged in Employment, Education or Training” (or “NEET” in short). MSF has called for greater attention to be paid towards uplifting this group. Pray for God's intervention in their lives.
2) “BECOMING OUTSTANDING IN LIFE”: Modern society measures a person’s worth by the wealth and power they wield, but this book shares the story of Zacchaeus to illustrate what is true success. AFC USA has ordered 450 copies, while 20K copies will be printed in East Asia. Pray for the Lord to use it to impact readers.
3) PRAYERS FOR THE UNWELL: Pray for healing for the parents of our Sri Lankan singers who participate yearly in CCIS, so that they will not need to worry about their well-being when they come to Singapore to perform during CCIS. Their father is ill and hospitalized while their mother had a bad fall. Pray also for Sis. Xiao Yang’s lung cancer treatment.
