SUN: PRAY FOR ALL LEADERS OF ASIAN CHURCHES
1) 171 EHC BRANCHES IN 165 COUNTRIES: The EHC team worked with churches in Reunion Island to reach 850K islanders. They also printed 100K prayer cards. Pray that the strongholds will fall, and each intercession will open a door.
2) 490K CHRIST GROUPS WORLDWIDE: EHC Brazil set up new Christ Groups in partner churches to run discipleship classes for 20K+ believers in their country. Pray for the leaders to be spiritually strong to guide the learners to shine for the Gospel in the community.
3) EHC HQ AND BRANCHES IN EVANGELISM: EHC North Macedonia’s co-workers and volunteers brave bad winter weather to give out tracts and need to ensure the tracts do not get wet. Pray for open doors and open hearts as they continue sharing the Gospel despite the challenges.
MON: PRAY FOR GOVERNMENTS AND THEIR LEADERS IN ASIA
1) FEED 5,000 CAMPAIGN IN AFRICA: EHC Namibia plans to have village outreach rallies in festive periods in November and December as many who are out working in cities would be back. Pray for more churches to partner with them to win more souls.
2) CCIS: Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain. CCIS 2025 will begin soon. Pray for the Holy Spirit to work among the visitors and open their hearts to welcome the light of Christ.
3) CHURCHES CELEBRATING HALLOWEEN: We were surprised to hear of the growing trend of churches celebrating Halloween. God is holy and sets us apart from the secular world, but the devil often uses cultural integration as a façade to lower our guard. Pray for God’s mercy and protection.
TUES: PRAY FOR EVANGELISM IN THE ASIAN WORKPLACE
1) OIKOS OUTREACH MINISTRY: OIKOS has reached out to over 650K households since it began 2+ years ago, which is about 44% of the total outreach goal. It has since led 170 new believers to know the Lord. Pray for more churches and brethren to participate in the new year and win many souls for God.
2) “THE PURSUIT” AND OTHER GOSPEL BOOKLETS: A brother in Christ tried in vain to evangelise to his friend, so he bought a gospel booklet and gave it to the friend, who soon accepted Christ after reading it. Thereafter, he often came by to buy more gospel materials. Pray for God to encourage more brethren to purchase SEHC publications to help lead others to know the Lord.
3) THE BIBLE: The amount of news in the media today makes it hard to tell which are true or fake. Despite our confusing lives, many answers and hope can actually be found in the Bible. 10K will be printed for S-E Asia. Pray for the Lord to lead many to discover the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
WED: PRAY FOR SOCIAL CARE MINISTRY IN ASIA
1) LOCAL CHURCHES AND BRETHREN IN TRACT OUTREACH: Many brethren have been distributing tracts for 10+ years. Our Indian brother, Bro. Robert, seizes the opportunity of their ethnic festivals to give out thousands of tracts across several hours each time. Pray for the Lord to remember and bless his work.
2) “GOSPEL EXPRESS”: Research showed that depression, anxiety, and isolation have been on the rise. God is love and our joy and constant help. 30K of this booklet will be printed in East Asia. Pray for more to find God’s hope, light, and joy through it.
3) “CHRISTMAS GREETINGS” AND “WHAT HAS CHRISTMAS GOT TO DO WITH YOU”: Without Jesus, Christmas is just a time to eat and drink lavishly and exchange presents. The empty will still feel empty and the wanting will still feel wanting. Pray for the 2 million copies of this combined tract circulated in East Asia to help many find abundant life this Christmas.
THU: PRAY FOR ASIAN TRIBAL CHURCHES & LIT. EVANGELISM
1) SEHC DONORS AND INTERCESSORS: Prayers and love offerings from the brethren supported SEHC to accomplish God’s work throughout the year. Their colla-boration with us to bear more fruits are pleasing to His heart.
2) “NEW BELIEVERS’ COURSE”: Jesus taught us to conduct evangelism alongside discipleship. 30K of this textbook was thus printed to help APAC churches and cell groups do so. Pray for the new believers to grow in truth.
3) CHURCH CHRISTMAS MINISTRY: The meaning of Christmas is in letting people know Jesus came to save the world. Pray for the churches’ caroling and tract outreach activities to lead many to know the Lord.
FRI: PRAY FOR SEMINARY EDUCATION AND AGENCY MINISTRY
1) “GROWING IN CHRIST”: This book by Elder Wong Kwok-Hing is one of the staple orders of a church in Sydney, and they ordered 200 copies this year. Pray for the fundamental truth taught in this book to help the churches nurture new believers in Christ.
2) CNY TRACT MANUSCRIPT: SEHC has sent invitations for CNY tract manuscripts from authors to seize the CNY evangelism window in APAC. Pray for the Gospel to be spread in the season of family reunion.
3) “EMPEROR OF THE UNIVERSE”: This booklet has been circulated in APAC and led countless unsaved souls to know the Emperor of the Universe. 30K are being reprinted. Pray for brethren to use them in personal outreach and lead many to know the Lord of life.
SAT: PRAY FOR THE MISSION MINISTRY OF ASIAN CHURCHES
1) “GLAD TIDINGS / NEW LIFE NEW HOPE”: 100-Villages Team in India is sponsored by the God-loving church elder couple and goes to 100 different villages every month for tract evangelism. Pray for many to hear the Good News of His birth and come to know the Lord.
2) AGEING POPULATION CHALLENGES: News have reported many elderly passing away alone or are unvisited in hospitals, while many seniors need to work for a living. Pray for them to come to know Jesus soon and for churches to enhance senior ministries.
3) PRAYERS FOR THE UNWELL: Rev. Kao hurt his leg in a fall and is undergoing therapy. Rev. Oh Beng Kee is weak from frequent dialysis. Sis. Chen Mei Lan needs peritoneal dialysis for kidney failure. Rev. Zeng Tian Nan cannot undergo hip surgery and has to rely on therapy and recuperation. Bro. Xin has been called home to the Lord. Please pray for all these brethren and comfort their loved ones.
