SUN:    PRAY FOR ALL LEADERS OF ASIAN CHURCHES

1) 178 EHC BRANCHES IN 155 COUNTRIES: The Shan are one of Myanmar’s 8 major ethnic groups and ancient religion believers with little chance to hear the Gospel. Pray for EHC Myanmar’s outreach to them to touch them with Christ’s love and salvation.

2) 400K CHRIST GROUPS WORLDWIDE: EHC Cameroon’s outreach to Village 12 in Niété subdivision bore abundant fruit and paved the way for a new Christ Group in this southern village. Pray for the 57 new converts to grow strong in their faith in the Lord.

3) EHC HQ AND BRANCHES IN EVANGELISM: EHC’s mission is to bring the Gospel to every last home on earth. However, evangelizing to displaced refugees of natural and manmade disasters can be exceedingly challenging and the EHC branches have called out to churches for support so they can reach the hurt and homeless people with Christ’s love.

MON:    PRAY FOR GOVERNMENTS AND THEIR LEADERS IN ASIA

1) FEED 5,000 CAMPAIGN IN AFRICA: Floods in the Kigali and Rubavu districts caused massive loss to lives and property. EHC Rwanda thus planned events to help the marginalized victims. Pray for God to touch these people and lead them to embrace His love, and for more awareness to bring care and help to them.

2) CCIS: Many brethren are actively supporting the fundraising efforts for our fundraising dinner on 03 Oct. Apart from the remaining 300K we need, we are also working on the programmes and relevant venue permits. Pray for more volunteers to come and support us.

3) OIKOS OUTREACH PROJECT: 5 new brethren joined the ministry and one of them brought her family and 11 friends to distribute tracts in HDB estates. Pray for more churches and brethren to work with us to save souls.

TUES:    PRAY FOR EVANGELISM IN THE ASIAN WORKPLACE

1) “DOES ANYONE CARES FOR ME?”: A friend lamented that she had to make several dozen calls to get help when she needed it. Modern people are getting busier and have less time for others, including their elders and young ones. Who really cares for us? Pray for God to use this tract to comfort many lonely hearts.

2) “GOSPEL Q&A”: Doubt is like a veil and no answers to truth can be found if it is not cleared. A Malaysian pastor bought several dozen copies, and many brethren also returned to buy more. 20K will be reprinted for APAC. Pray for readers to find the answers they need.

3) “7 STEPS TO BLESSINGS”: The booklet explores fallen human nature and the cause, God’s judgement, obeying His word, steps to blessings, suffering in hell, and eternal blessing to explain how one may receive blessings. It presents many examples in a humorous style. Pray for its use with 30K being reprinted for APAC.

WED: PRAY FOR SOCIAL CARE MINISTRY IN ASIA

1) READING CLUB: A group of sisters in Christ gathered to read and have finished “Secret to Pleasing God” and “Love On Its Knees” in just 2 months. One of them collected 10 more copies of the latter book from us and plans to start another reading club. Pray for God to increase the habit of reading among brethren.

2) “WHEN WILL LIFE’S WORRIES END?”: We may live to 70, perhaps 80 if healthy, but our lives are plagued by worries. Family, work, and unexpected disasters all add to our troubles. Pray for this tract to lead many to eternal happiness and joy in the Lord.

3) “NO EASY ROAD”: Jesus admonished us to take the narrow door to enter heaven. The journey of prayer is one such narrow path, filled with rough terrain like peak of unbelief, mountain of sin, avalanche of excuses, and peak of habit, yet God awaits us at the end. Pray for God’s use of this book to teach readers how to surmount those obstacles.

THU:     PRAY FOR ASIAN TRIBAL CHURCHES & LIT. EVANGELISM

1) SEHC INTERCESSORS AND DONORS: Many elderly brethren have supported SEHC with prayers and love offerings all these years. Their bountiful lives have brought blessings to countless unsaved. Pray for more young blood to succeed them.

2) “SOUL IN HEAVEN AND MONEY IN THE BANK” / “A MYSTERY OF LIFE”: Written by Bro. Huangzi and an anonymous author respectively, 2M copies will be printed for the APAC ministries. Pray for the recent natural disasters in the region and for the people to find Christ and salvation.

3) LOCAL CHURCHES AND BRETHREN REACHING OUT: Unstable times, declining morals, and criminal activities have gotten worse by the day. The Gospel is thus needed by countless fearful hearts and pastors can take the lead to encourage their flocks to evangelise as their contribution to the spread of the Gospel.

FRI:    PRAY FOR SEMINARY EDUCATION AND AGENCY MINISTRY

1) A SOUL A DAY (ASAD) MINISTRY: Between Apr and Jun, the team was at Chinatown and led 154 new believers to Christ. They reach out weekly to 10 neighbourhoods rain or shine and hope to collaborate with more churches to follow up with new believers.

2) “NEW LIFE NEW HOPE” IN THAI: A God-loving couple of church elders sponsored 100K copies of the tract for EHC Thailand’s outreach to 4 hospitals. Pray for the Lord’s provision as EHC Thailand often faces a shortage of funds for tract production.

3) “HAPPY MID-AUTUMN FESTIVAL”: Do grasp the opportunity to use this tract to share the Gospel along with your festive mooncakes with friends and family. Pray for the tracts to lead the unsaved to know their Creator and Christ’s boundless love and grace.

SAT:     PRAY FOR THE MISSION MINISTRY OF ASIAN CHURCHES

1) NEW BLOOD FOR THE CHURCHES: Many pastors are part of the rapidly ageing population, which pose a challenge as churches urgently need to equip the next generation to succeed God’s call so pure belief and biblical teachings can continue to be passed on.

2) THE BIBLE: Bibles are rarely available to purchase for believers in the APAC region, thus SEHC will provide 10K copies to them monthly to help them take root in faith. Pray also for the political influences that attempt to tamper with the word of God.

3) PRAYERS FOR THE UNWELL: Pray for Rev. K T Kao and Bro. Xin who are undergoing physiotherapy for weakness in their legs, Elder Zhang Lili’s recovery from her fall, Dr. Lee Chun Kwan’s trigeminal neuralgia, SEHC volunteer Sis. Huang Bijin’s depression, and in remembrance of Sis. Huang Junian who returned to the Lord on 11/8/2023.
